Last Day and Night
Had a leisurely breakie then headed to the pool to get comfy in the banana lounges and catch up on some reading.

Had a mango smoothie for lunch then headed for the beach across the road. We hired two banana lounges and a beach brolly. I got myself in the shade of the umbrella and continued reading, the book is getting very interesting.

Headed back to the hotel about 5.00 pm to pack the bags. We have a very early start......3.00am wake up, very uncivilised if you ask me.

Goodbye Hawaii, until next time,
Aloha

Wednesday:
Still sunny and warm. We hired a 3 wheel run around today. It is so small and so low that I had trouble getting into the thing. Getting out was impossible, I had to have help from Tracie, not a good look!

We cruised around the suburbs for nearly 4 hours. Have you ever seen On The Buses ? The brother in law had a motor bike with a side car that his wife Olive sat in, we'll I felt a bit like that,  especially when we had to reverse. Tracie had to hop out and push us into the required position.

We stopped off and had a bro use around the Aquarium, the giant clams were amazing. Oh and we stopped at the shopping centre again.

Went across the road and had Mexican for tea. Back to the hotel now to watch a bit of telly and go nigh nigh.

Day 4
We had a lazy day yesterday, stayed around the hotel and got a bit of sun. We decided to have room service for tea and watch a movie.

Today we went to the Ala Mona shopping centre. Like everything in America, it is HUGE.

Tracie had to go to a particular shop to pick up some goodies that a workmates requested. We spent a lot of time in Walmart and Tracie came out with so much "stuff" she could barely carry the bag.

She spotted one of her favourite eating places Buba Gump Shrimps (based on the Forrest Gump movie when he went into the shrimp business). A really good place and of course excellent service.

It is St Patricks day here and they have a celebration on the beach and a parade. Lots of people dressed in green with funny hats and now that the sun has gone down the music is getting louder.

An open bus all decorated for St Patricks Day

Day 2
Another sunny warm day in paradise. There are soooooo many people on surfboards just waiting for a wave, the weather is so calm I think they wait all day!

Went to the outlets today, the ride takes about 35 mins from Waikiki. The Adidas shop is very cheap, we both bought some runners and track suit pants . Went to the croc shop and bought May favourite thongs, got 2 pair this time just is case Rosie the very bad dog gets to them again and chews them into a thousand pieces. We stayed about 3 hours and decided enough was enough so headed back to the hotel.

We had another early tea at the Cheesecake Factory again. This time I stuck to soup, I can' describe how yummy it was. Then I made a big mistake and shared some cheesecake with Tracie, oh I am so full.
An early night for me, Tracie is going for a walk along the beach.

Ahhh the Americans. Any excuse for a parade and party....St Patricks Day.

Hawaii 2014

Here we are in sunny Hawaii in a lovely room on the 30th floor over looking the beach.

Tracie was informed she is a return customer and therefore she would be looked after. When we got to our room that didn't have a view of the beach she decided we should be moved ! And move we did, the room, on the 33rd floor has a full view of the ocean.

I have been to Macey's and got my usual extra cheap Estée Lauder products and also found a couple of bargains. Tracie went to Victoria's Secret and blew her budget in 1 hour!

Both of us are tired after the flight so we had an early tea at a place called the Cheesecake Factory. They have such a lot on their menu, no wonder the place is always packed. I decided to have Tacos, in my mind I was thinking a bowl would be just nice. Well, when the order came out I nearly fainted, the food was on a huge dinner plate, you would have been able to feed 4 people.
